Child development is an incredibly impactful space where good design can benefit a community and its future. As society looks more toward the future and our dependence on convenient technology increases, there's a rising concern that we're losing something. This daycare concept communicates a mindfulness of this concern through its integration of natural elements and simplified designs.

This project started by looking at global perspectives on effective healthy child development and building a foundational understanding of modern practices. This research arrived at the importance of giving children a space that lets their minds develop naturally, away from the distractions of overstimulating environments.

This idea serves as the base for all elements of The Bower, from the brand identity, to iconography, to material selection.
